I believe that all students can learn and will learn best with someone who shows interest in them. I have always made sure my students knew that I cared about them while educating them.

I am a Literacy Specialist. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in Reading Education. I have taught in public schools as well as doing private tutoring for many years. 

Small groups reading a specific book, will meet to discuss and share regarding the section of the book assigned for that week. Students should be reading outside of group time. The group will focus on mini lessons that range from social skills needed for small group discussion, strategies to help them understand, appreciate and examine text.
